Digital flyers

“Digital flyers” aim to eliminate all printed materials within Snai Points for that concerning information on horse races: they are horizontal HD monitors which report complete and in-depth statistical data for all horses that are involved in the daily horse races.

The screen configures itself in accordance with the program of races and is constantly updated with progress reports, replacing the starting races with finished races.

Snai apps for smartphones and PC tablets

In order to use a Snai app, all that is required is a cellphone or tablet in order to place bets due to a variety of free apps that were developed and realized by Snai for its clientele.

“Snai Sport” and “Snai Ippica” allow the gambler to place the same sports bets that are made in Snai Points or through the Internet; these apps also allow the user to verify any operations implemented on Snai Card gambling accounts, and are available for smartphones and tablets that are equipped with Android or iOs operating systems.

In addition to football, “Snai Sport” allows the user to place bets on all other sports for which betting is authorized, including basketball, tennis, Formula 1, MotoGP racing, biking races and other events. The app automatically updates the various types of accepted bets and the relative odds, thereby allowing the user to always be informed in real time.

There is a section which is exclusively dedicated to “live” betting, i.e. bets placed during the course of the event, in order to facilitate users which are interested in this type of betting.

“Snai Ippica” (horse racing app) allows the user to place bets with fixed odds on a “winner” or “placed horse” for horse races planned in Italy or abroad; by means of the app, it is also possible to consult updated news from the various horse racing tracks. It is also possible to memorize names of one’s favorite horses, thereby creating a “personal horse stable”, in order to be always updated on their registrations within planned races as well as on their results.

Other apps are dedicated to card games: By means of “Snai Roulette” it is possible to test one's luck with one of the most popular casino games; “Snai Black Jack” and “Snai 7 e ½” are dedicated to the corresponding card games while “Snai Hi Low” allows the gambler to play a specific variation of poker.

The download and use of the app are only allowed for overage users, similarly to the opening of a Snai Card gambling account.

“My.Self”, “Fai con me” and bet collection systems

In the autumn of 2012, the new self-service terminal My.Self became a part of the Snai Points: smaller than the “historical" Fai con Me system, My.Self allows the gambler to place all bets offered by the betting agencies in addition to offering, for the first time, the option to pay one's bets in cash. The gambler uses two screens, one with a touch screen functionality in order to select one’s bets, and one which reports odds for events of major interest.

My.Self will be present alongside the current “Fai con Me” terminals which are now equipped with an even more user-friendly interface as well as slots for placing bets with both cash and prepaid cards.

My.Self and Fai con Me are fully integrated with the other terminals used in the SNAI Points, including the Betsi 2006 New which are used by bookie operators to which one's bets are communicated.

The “Genius” System

The network of terminals is incorporated within a hardware and software system that was entirely developed by SNAI and named Genius. Completely interfaced with the SNAI control center of Lucca – within the registered offices of the Company – Genius allows for the management of all phases of the activities of the betting agency, from the opening to closing time.

By means of Genius, it is also possible to monitor bet collections through the Internet and other telecommunication modalities (telephone, etc.) in addition to optimizing risk control, thereby allowing for customized interventions in relation to the odds offered to clientele. Genius also allows for the management of bet “reservations”: this is a modality for pre-collecting bets which allows gamblers to also place bets beyond the normal opening hours of the SNAI Points.

Genius is also available in a specific version for bars, tobacco stores and retail businesses which are authorized to issue and recharge SNAI Cards used for gambling through the telephone, Internet or satellite decoders.

Betting on virtual events

As of December 2013, Snai offers the possibility of betting – both within Snai Points and within the website www.snai.it – on virtual events.  These are bets that are based on simulated sports and horse race events and which use software that recreates, on a monitor, the primary moments of sports events or gallop and harness races.

Snai offers betting services for virtual football matches, car and speedway races, tennis matches, bicycle races on tracks, greyhound races, and horse gallop and harness races.
